The idea
Most hydraulic equipment does not need a diesel; it needs torque at the pump. The E-Cell packages an electric drive unit, its pump coupling, and its controls as one engine-shaped assembly, so electrifying a machine is a swap, not a redesign. Power comes from the DC bus: a battery pack, a DC genset, or shore power, whatever the site provides.
The result is a machine that works indoors, works quietly, starts instantly in the cold, and stops burning fuel the moment the operator lets off.
